Have you went to a doctor's visit where they tell you that you have high blood pressure, diabetes, or are at risk of something unless you change your eating habits and exercise, basically doing things that are not the norm of what you were used to doing.
Well, when it comes to our spirituality, those self checks are just as important as our physical ones.
God calls us to Check: Self Examine Ourselves, find out what's keeping us from drawing closer to God.
God calls us to Change: Once the issues of our hearts are presented to us, we have to first repent( meaning to turn away from) and make the necessary changes in order for us to become better.
God calls us to have Control: One of the Fruits of the Spirit in Galatians 5:23 is Self-Control. I believe when it comes to Change and Self- Control, many believers become stuck.
It's one thing for your issues to be presented to you, but it's another to accept that unless I make the required changes within me( self) my situation won't get better.
Having Self-Control helps us not fall back into those unhealthy habits (sin and compromise) that caused you to become sick or can lead you to become sicker even unto death.
2 Chronicles 7:14 tells us unless we do better to become better, so we can experience better by fulfilling God's requirements for our lives, then we won't see better because it starts with us.
I learned that becoming One with God is the ultimate goal before meeting the One from God.
But, even if He doesn't do it, God is more than enough!
This is what wholeness looks and feels like.
And God wants all you ladies to become whole no matter what your status is!

Paul states in Philippians 4:11-13 New International Version (NIV)I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
Let your desires become aligned with the Will of God, His perfect plan for your life.
Whatever you're hoping for, in His good timing, His way, He's going to do it!
